The farmhouse, nestled in the beautiful Florentine hills, offers a serene and picturesque setting for a relaxing stay. The private gardens provide a charming backdrop for al fresco dining, allowing guests to savor the flavors of traditional cuisine while enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings. The swimming pool provides a refreshing oasis to cool off and soak up the Tuscan sun. The 11th-century farmhouse, carefully restored, exudes an old-world charm and adds a touch of history to the experience. The complimentary wireless internet access keeps guests connected while the warm and inviting fireplace in the lobby creates a cozy ambiance.
Mouldy baby crib.

The moment I stepped into this lovely country retreat, I was enchanted by its beautiful decoration and cozy atmosphere. The antique furniture, elegant decor, and comfortable seating areas created a warm and inviting ambiance that made me feel right at home. As a senior woman, it was refreshing to find a hotel that catered to my needs, with spacious and accessible common areas, ease of navigation, and a well-maintained environment that ensured a safe and relaxing stay.
If I had to make one small suggestion for improvement, it would be to have more attentive and considerate staff. While some of the employees were friendly and accommodating, there were a few instances where the service fell short.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of this rustic country resort. The decor was like stepping back in time, with beautiful antique furniture and traditional Italian touches. The common areas were well-maintained and had a warm and inviting feel. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility throughout the property. There were gentle ramps and wide pathways that made it easy for me to navigate with my cane. It was a pleasure to stroll through the garden and relax by the fireplace, feeling right at home in this lovely setting.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more attentive staff. The "children working there," as I affectionately called them, seemed a bit preoccupied and stretched thin with their many tasks.

The suite at this country resort was absolutely amazing, with a stunning view and a jaw-droppingly large bathroom with a double shower. The room was meticulously cleaned each day, making it super comfortable and inviting. The Italian-style breakfast was mind-blowingly delicious, and we couldn't fault the quality of the food at the hotel's restaurant during our 6-night stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, hardworking, and provided top-notch service. We also appreciated the convenience of amenities such as free parking, Wi-Fi, and the electric kettle in our room. The resort's location offered plenty of outdoor activities, from hiking and cycling to canoeing and fishing. We also took advantage of the in-room breakfast and the option to dine outdoors. our experience at this resort was nothing short of perfect, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday.

We had an exceptional stay at a beautiful country resort. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views made it a truly memorable experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfasts and dinners served on-site were absolutely wonderful. We only wished the pool and hot tub were warmer, but it didn't dampen our overall enjoyment. We wished we could have stayed longer and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a serene getaway.

In terms of value for money, our stay at Il Castelluccio Country Resort was definitely worth every penny. The room was not only comfortable but also spacious, providing us with a relaxing space to unwind after a long day. The resort's remote location added to the charm, offering absolute tranquility and peace. Moreover, the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay.
The morning meal could have been improved by ensuring prompt and efficient service. Although the breakfast itself was outstanding with a wide variety of sweet options, we did experience a delay in receiving our food during one of our breakfasts.

Amazing location in the Florentine hills, delicious local cuisine, and a charming farmhouse atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the pool and restaurant were perfect for relaxation.
Who needs more than one roll of toilet paper and lukewarm water when you're staying at a 11th-century farmhouse? So rustic!

The breakfast was outstanding! So much served to our table - like a small buffet style. The dinner was stunning and we chose the local specialty, cooked to perfection. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed the pool service.
The drive up to the hotel is not for inexperienced drivers and the rooms were small with little view. The bathroom had mold and we only received clean towels once during our stay.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my business trip, as it was centrally located in Tuscany. The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, providing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The food and wine at the hotel's restaurant were delicious, and the breakfast was superb. I also appreciated the fact that the hotel offered a selection of cosmetics, which was a nice touch.
There were a few negative aspects during my stay. there was a wooden door in my room that seemed to lead to another room, which caused some noise disturbances when the neighboring guests were loud.
